But if Donald Trump didn’t want to, or couldn’t for some reason, and he needed to keep that reason secret, I could easily see him having somebody leak this story. My guess is Kushner is setting up a rival social media platform for Conservatives at Trump’s behest, and when the time is right, Trump will return to social media on it and bring all of his fans there at once. It is even possible Trump allowed social media companies to go wild, rather than reign them in, so they would become unbearable for conservatives, and when the time came he could draw all conservatives to a competing platform he controlled, and which he knew would never betray us. The alternative might have been to reign in social media a couple of years ago, make it marginally tolerable, and for people to stay on those platforms, giving those who controlled them the power to still pull the plug, in extremis.

Gab CEO Andrew Torba said Saturday that former President Donald Trump doesn’t use the platform.
A number of media outlets, including Insider, incorrectly reported Trump had joined Gab.
Since being banned from social media sites like Twitter and Facebook, Trump has been quiet online.
Editor’s note: An earlier version of this article incorrectly reported that Donald Trump had posted to the social media platform Gab. Gab CEO Andrew Torba has since said the account in question is not run by Trump. We’ve updated the story to reflect this.
Gab CEO Andrew Torba said Donald Trump does not use the platform, after false reports suggested otherwise.
Multiple media outlets, including Insider, incorrectly reported that the former president broke his social media silence Friday with a post on Gab. But Torba says the account in question is not, and has never been, used by Trump.
“@realdonaldtrump is and always has been a mirror archive of POTUS’ tweets and statements that we’ve run for years. We’ve always been transparent about this and would obviously let people know if the President starts using it,” Torba said in a post on Gab.
Torba also criticised the media outlets that falsely reported that Trump himself was posting to the account, which features a blue check mark similar to those used on verified Twitter accounts.
The Gab post that was mistaken for a post from Trump himself featured a letter, which is genuine, sent by Trump’s lawyers to Democratic Rep. Jamie Raskin. Raskin recently called on the former president to testify at his second impeachment hearing next week.
The letter, signed by Trump attorneys David Schoen and Bruce Castor Jr., read: “We are in receipt of your latest public relations stunt. Your letter only confirms what is known to everyone: you cannot prove your allegations against the 45th President of the United States, who is now a private citizen.”
The letter continued: “The use of our Constitution to bring a purported impeachment proceeding is much too serious to try to play these games.”

The “Golden Path” from Herbert’s Dune series is a helpful parallel for looking at how humanity might actually be pushed down the path of K permanently. In short, through terrifyingly harsh conditions imposed intentionally on the species, humanity is broken of its reliance on the technology which had been developed to that point, including prescience and the ability to travel immense distances instantly and safely.
Many in the faith community, myself and the other leaders at our local church included, have viewed all of the economic and pandemic dramas as ultimately a “good thing”, in that it’s helped sort some of the wheat from the chaff and refocus people’s priorities. What if that was part of “the plan” in taking people to the brink? That there is no hero waiting around the corner to save the day, to dismantle the surveillance mechanisms, to set things right?
A while back, in Neon Revolt’s comment section, I had posited what it might take for people to genuinely “move on” from Q after the nominal goals had been accomplished. That the movement was doing a good work in inspiring and waking people up, but if people could be convinced to just “trust the plan” and sit on their thumbs and take no tangible actions on their own in order to not need such an insider to act on their behalf, then the “problems” at the root were not really being addressed. Whatever achieved would be undone just a generation or two down the road.
For a time, a movement would need to train people on the trajectory that they should pursue on their own, but how to do that when a movement has been incredibly successful? People would want to set the focal point of the movement up as the “new king”. History has showed this time and again, where folks who did the right thing become messianic figures, intentionally or not. This was also part of the story from Dune, where the attempt to overthrow the prior tyranny only laid the groundwork for the next.
This is further affirmed through the analysis captured by books like “The Dictator’s Handbook: Why Bad Behavior is Almost Always Good Politics”. The things which we pawns at the ground level naturally think would be best for the country tend to be the antithesis of what actually ensures a politician attains and retains their position of control within the system, and the dynamic don’t change whether it’s a country or an HoA or church elders.
So all this to say that if the Q folks were too successful, then there would be no way for them to hand the keys back given the circumstances. What I’d predicted was that there would need to be a point in the Q movement akin to stories where a character is trying to shake off a follower which is just a bit too devoted. Or the dog which is just a bit too loyal. Instead of being able to take what they were given and moving on, the object of devotion has to go to hostile measures in order to try and drive their follower(s) away.
Are folks dedicated to Q, or to the values, the truth, that Q espoused? Are folks just part of the crowd, or do they “get it” and can start to operate independently, no longer needing a pied piper to lead them along the new direction?
What we’re seeing play out, whether folks supported the movement or not, is an involuntary application of selection pressures. Whether synthetic or natural, people aren’t choosing it for themselves, and so there’s now a weight which is simply not present when such pressures are applied voluntarily by the individual. That while it’s nice some folks were trying to “go K” on their own through their choices, no choice we make for ourselves can have the same lasting impact as reality making choices instead and us having to respond.
This would, again, mean that Q wasn’t fake, but was not intended to succeed as advertised either. Enough people needed Q to aim them in the right direction, but the movement itself was never meant to take them all the way to the ultimate destination. The “hero” of the Golden Path was the tyrant who remained vigilant until humanity had learned its lesson for good. Like a rocket with multiple stages, the movement served a purpose and would necessarily be discarded.
Are folks doing what it would take at the local level, in meatspace, to resolve the problems in how we got here, or would the “lesson” be from this round of social experiments be that even people who attempted to “go K” voluntarily will still always need to be led, always need to be ruled over? That while “freedom” may be ideologically desirable, is ultimately untenable given human nature?
I don’t know, but I do believe this site and the truths about r/K are an important buoy when navigating these tumultuous waters nonetheless. It’d be a shame to lose a valuable point of reference like this because some people desired validation through “I told you so” more than the relationship and conversations that come from “ok, what now?”

While I hope you are right, 2 thoughts come to mind:
1) anything is possible;
2) winning is just a matter of how much the people are willing to put on the line (what price are they willing to pay).
First of all, what winning means needed to be defined with specifics. Does it mean the D party ceases to exist? Then what do you do with all the people who still buy into it? Does it mean the creation of a new Country? Does it mean that the Constitution gets respected in full and that people can call openly tell their Jewish overlords to go suck a dick and force their subversion to end and they have freedom of association and can then thus create local level small ethno-states and be left alone and happy in control of their own destiny?
People could just opt for some form of “win” by taking over by force. But they won’t, because they still have too much to lose, and thus aren’t willing to pay the price (but as they are guided closer and closer to the brink, they have less and less to lose, and thus become more open to pay the price).
And once the system was destroyed and replaced, taken over, what then? Conquering (even if you are conquering your freedom) and ruling are 2 very different things, and being able to conquer does no guarantee the conquerer can rule (see the example of communism and how the Jews who make it happen end up losing complete control over the new ruling mechanisms over time (that’s why Jewish collective power hates Russia and Putin, despite Jews still having lots of power there)).
I think people need more clarity in what their objectives are (aka: what is it that they want to happen), and they need to be able to come up with plans for increasing the chances of it happening.
Leadership is necessary, but so are contingencies for when leadership fails for whatever reason (not saying it did in this particular case), or cannot be found (example: if in a democratic system all candidates are part of an uniparty and there is no choice but between controlled opposition or openly subversive stooges, without the system allowing outsiders to participate in the system).
