News Briefs – 07/13/2020

Here are some news stories that might be of interest. Most articles will be more or less summarized in the headline. You can skim the headlines and summaries, and click the links if they are of interest. Keep in mind, many of these reports are products of the Fake News, so although they will be what people are hearing and talking about, there is no guarantee any one of them is necessarily correct, and we have had cases of outright lies make it onto these pages, especially about President Trump.

Scientists from the Wuhan virus lab have ‘defected’ to the West, reveals senior Trump ally Steve Bannon – as FBI gathers evidence that Coronavirus pandemic was caused by an accidental leak.

Ghislaine Maxwell reportedly moved from ‘cell to cell’ to avoid assassins. I’m sure I often sound like a paranoid schizo on here. But bear in mind outside of Q, I am the only other site really out there saying it is this bad on a regular basis. Everybody else is lying to you or ignoring it to keep you weak and powerless, even if it is just by not emphasizing to you, you need to grasp the extent of it. The only other place you besides Q where you will see the truth is isolated incidents like this where it bleeds out accidentally.

Four women have been accused of helping Ghislaine Maxwell supply young girls to billionaire paedophile Jeffrey Epstein.

Epstein would shake with uncontrollable energy when he wanted to sleep with a girl. Also, one of his young victims was pondering whether to join the lawsuit when she got a call late at night telling her if she did, her daughter would be at risk. So as you’d think, the network running him is still out there floating around. Also, think about how much they know about how many people, to be able to find the one perfect candidate, with that uncontrollable a drive, to make sure he would do whatever he was told and completely owned by them.

Now we are pretending there’s a national coin shortage so we go cashless. I think I may actually have gotten caught by a variation of this getting groceries just before these stories hit. I checked out, broke out my wallet and began to pull out cash, and the girl behind the counter said, “Oh, is it possible you could use a credit card? I don’t have any small bills to change, and I’d have to go refill.” For a brief moment the question “How the fuck do you not have change in a register when your purpose as a cashier is to make change?” flashed through my mind, but she seemed like a nice girl, I was in a rush and didn’t want to stand around, and it seemed plausible if the transactions worked out just right she might have used up her small bills, so I broke out the credit card. But it is interesting to me now that I got a different story about her not having small bills in that moment, while nationally they are going with the national coin shortage tale. And the policy seems to be getting implemented by the cashiers, who have been read in on the plan.

The Missouri Democratic Party’s new leader called for the release of convicted cop killer Mumia Abu-Jamal and, as a state legislator in 2017, vocally opposed a law that heightened penalties for those who harm police officers.

Aurora police officers were trapped inside the District 1 station house for hours July 3 night after protesters chained the doors shut and plotted to storm the building.

Washington DC to become one of the few places in US to let prisoners vote under the new Police reform bill.

Seattle City Council to cut the Police budget by 50%.

Hundreds, perhaps thousands, of liberal Black Lives Matter activists are tormenting the teenage daughter of a slain police officer on social media. Not clear to me if they are genuinely this deranged, to lash out at this little girl mourning her father, or if this is a production by Cabal’s ground forces reading a script to foster a narrative.

A video of an Oregon protester is going viral after an unidentified person was seen holding a baby as a human shield. Low rearing investment urge of the r-strategist.

Elvis’ grandson just committed suicide. Maybe. A while back somebody on one of the Chans said in cases like the Kennedys and Bruce Lee, the Cabal had some sort of cult-belief that they got extra powerful magic if they sacrificed multiple generations of a bloodline. No idea if they really knew what they were talking about, but it wouldn’t surprise me at this point.

Missing Glee star Naya Rivera’s last moments on video here. Notice, no boat traffic, until at 10:42, just as she finishes being checked out and is ready to pull out. A boat/jetski can be seen causing a white dot of froth on the far side of the lake, as it turns to come to a sudden stop above and to the right of where she has just finished being checked out on the boat. It appears to have sped in from the far inlet, turned, and headed left on the screen, where it stops and waits above her as she gets the feel of the boat. As she begins to get underway heading rightward, at 12:06, it moves very quickly to the left of the screen in the opposite direction, generating white froth. As she stops at 12:15, it stops, and as she goes in the opposite direction at 12:17 it reverses course and heads in the opposite direction. At 13:56, as she reverses course again, it again reverses course and heads in the opposite direction, before stopping one final time, so if she headed across the lake she would not come near it, but it would still have a sightline to her. My guess is they were watching her. Can’t say if Cabal was watching her and calling to a team ahead for some reason so they would be ready, but she was on a super-LGBT show with a history of premature deaths, that was definitely doing Cabal-programming. No telling what she knew, or if they might want to shut her up. But a guy in scuba gear could just grab the foot of a girl swimming, and pull her down and that would be it.

I tend to think Cabal is ancient middle eastern and/or European, but can’t think offhand of evidence saying it definitely isn’t a Chinese operation today. Maybe Chinese intel wasn’t infiltrated by Cabal decades back, spotted it, and managed to infiltrate and take it over. Whatever the root, from Strzok, to Hillary, to Feinstein, people in this country have sold out the country’s principles and its Constitution to be on what seemed the winning side. “And the policy seems to be getting implemented by the cashiers, who have been read in on the plan.”

Cashiers aren’t read in like that. For cashiers it’s kept simple by store management, which gets orders from regional/corporate. They’re employees. They do what they’re told. And none the wiser, accept corporate. Now, another part of Cabal could do local payoffs to vulnerable (ie. drug using) cashiers to get info, but that’s not a new thing.

Thus he said, The fourth beast shall be the fourth kingdom upon earth, which shall be diverse from all kingdoms, and shall devour the whole earth, and shall tread it down, and break it in pieces.

And the ten horns out of this kingdom are ten kings that shall arise: and another shall rise after them; and he shall be diverse from the first, and he shall subdue three kings.

And he shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change times and laws: and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time.

But the judgment shall sit, and they shall take away his dominion, to consume and to destroy it unto the end.

And the kingdom and dominion, and the greatness of the kingdom under the whole heaven, shall be given to the people of the saints of the most High, whose kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and all dominions shall serve and obey him.

Daniel 7:23-27

I would want Capital Punishment.

As in regards to the lower levels of our enemies they are indeed too much to take out ourselves. But I think in this regard the Bible provides some clues. In (Judges 7:22)(1 Samuel 14:20)(2 Chronicles 20:23). Throw enemies into confusion somehow and then get them to kill one another. So that no matter how large said population it takes care of itself.

Confirmed. My wife thinks I’m somewhat crazy. In reality, most people are just full of shit and no one calls them on it.

Pretty much everyone else I know thinks that it doesn’t affect them or me, so why do I care so much about it?

I used to try to explain to them how it affects them.
Now, I just say COVID-19 and laugh hysterically at them.
How specifically doesn’t affect you?
Sporting Events?
Going to the grocery store?
Having your kids out of school?
etc.
etc.

“…Every time I try to explain something to a normie friend or relative I think “they’re gonna think I’m crazy…”

I think absolutely VITAL to show them building 7 that fell the same speed as a rock dropped in air for roughly 108 feet on 9-11. This means the only support this building had was air. There is no other alternative. The gravity field that accelerates things on Earth is exactly the same for rocks and buildings. If the rock had nothing but air under it then the building also had nothing but air holding it up. But we KNOW the damn building wasn’t floating in the air so the only explanation is the support was demoed out from under it somehow.

The fires they say brought it down were only on 3 or 4 floors. The fires COULD NOT have boiled away all the building support where it was the same density as air. Now even if they don’t believe you if they hear this and see it…well it’s damn difficult to forget and it will gnaw the fuck out of their brain. At some point most people will have to acknowledge that at least on 9-11 some group, not Arabs in planes, blew these damn buildings up. After that the log jam is broken they will easily entertain that which they can see with their own eyes. That we don’t run our country and that there’s a massive amount of corruption that threatens Whites with eventual death. Combine this with the idea that Epstein was blackmailing politicians and judges, which is not hard to believe for anyone, and they will begin to have the veil lifted from their faces.

Building 7 is key because it just could NOT have happened as they say. It’s 100% impossible for their story to be true.

Here’s an explanation plus video links. I mean look for yourself. You don’t have to believe me the evidence is there for anyone to see.

> cashless

…because tracking you via your phone isn’t enough, and they haven’t persauded people to get their ears tagged like cattle yet.

Some years ago my bank stopped returning canceled checked to me, sending me a sheet with tiny pictures of the checks instead. A canceled check is a legal document; an acknowledged receipt of payment. I’ve used them for that in court.

In my search for information on whether the photocopies could be considered equivalent to paper, I scheduled an appointment with a rep at my local bank. By the end of the hour I had their senior IT lady and one of the vice presidents attending. One of the things I found out was that the old check-clearing system had been replaced by expanding the EFT system. When I started asking about security on that, the news was very bad, with lots of “that couldn’t possibly happen, but if it did, we’re totally not responsible.”

On the way out I pulled all except $100 out of my checking account and cashed out my savings account. When I need to write a check, I swing by and make a deposit while on the way to the post office. Otherwise, I use cash.

Which has been very interesting… despite what’s printed on each bill, businesses aren’t actually required to take cash, and some of them whine piteously about it. Like my car insurance agent, who had to send someone to the bank to get $18 after I gave them two hundreds…

Every check, every money order, every Paypal, every credit card transaction, is logged, bundled, and sold to marketing companies. The Fed doesn’t have to pay for that information.

I’m a poster child for “has nothing to hide”, as I live a ridiculously boring life. But my hobby is poking a finger in the eyes of the people who want to watch everything I do anyway.

So, where were the District 2 officers? Or the District 1 officers who were off-shift?

Lots of modern buildings don’t have openable windows, but there were *no* doors that had plain knobs instead of crash bars?

So do I, for that matter. The police *already* have layers of legal protection; we’re perilously close into turning them all (even “law enforcement”, who vastly outnumber actual police) into a de facto privileged class.

The law is supposed to apply to everyone equally. That kind of law would make the police “more equal than others”.

[obscenity] no. Not if I *ever* have anything to say about it.

> Is Cabal run by China?

I doubt it, mostly because China’s historical master/serf social structure wouldn’t have *needed* any type of cabal to operate against its own or a neighboring population. You either ruled or served, bar a tiny merchant class that existed purely for convenience.

Going back to the 1800s, the US government and many large companies were *very* interested in China, sending many emissaries and trade expeditions there. The Chinese didn’t sell much and bought almost nothing, weren’t interested in military alliances, and I never figured out what the point of all that was, though I have a theory that a lot of people saw how private business in England had created the British Raj, and had imperial financial ambitions of their own.

You know how when you buy Chinese stuff on eBay, and shipping is usually either free or just a few cents? Shipping from China to the US is subsidized by the US government, and has been since the 1800s. The latest version of that treaty was renewed last year. Exactly *why* are American taxpayers subsizing Chinese businesses? “Enquiring minds want to know.”

Later, if you read much about WWII, FDR’s actions in China make very little sense. Yes, Japan ruled a big chunk of China, which was both a source of raw materials and had an insatiable demand for occupation troops. Any trouble in China directly affected the Japanese war machine. But when Mao, who was by far the best organized and largest Chinese “freedom fighter” tried to get American backing, FDR turned him down cold, so Mao went to Stalin instead. Meanwhile the US backed a succession of local warlords, hoodlums, and losers, finally settling on Chiang, who represented China – at best a minor war zone – at the highest level conferences with Churchill and Stalin. Whaaaat?

Then there was Nixon’s sudden, never-explained decision to suck up to China in the 1970s. Yes, helping drive a wedge between the CCP and USSR was a valid reason, but Nixon never claimed that, just some happy-slappy PR fluff. Which was *very* unlike Nixon, who was razor-sharp on geopolitics. And Nixon wrote several books after stepping down from his Presidency, going over almost every action in office in detail… *except* for the whole China thing, which he simply presents as accomplished.

Then there’s Clinton, who turned over all of US nuclear research to the Chinese, *including* weapons research. I knew people in the industry then who were frothing mad that groups of Chinese would fly in, be led into high security areas, and start making copies of classified documents.

Still, if the Chinese were manipulating things to their own advantage, I suspect they would have worked for different things. If anything, it looks like they’ve been groomed to be someone’s cheap labor pool, not a world power.

“WWII, FDR’s actions in China make very little sense….Mao went to Stalin instead…”

Makes perfect sense if you want China to be under the control of Communist and the State department is filled to the brim with Jewish communist, which it was.

“… Meanwhile the US backed a succession of local warlords, hoodlums, and losers, finally settling on Chiang, who represented China – at best a minor war zone – at the highest level conferences with Churchill and Stalin. Whaaaat?…”

Here’s my understanding of this. Chiang Kai-shek was doing just fine. He was supposed to get a very large shipment of arms from the US and the State department stopped it. So he lost. If he would have had support then he could have won.

If you look at what is written about this you only hear that Chiang Kai-shek was intransigent, corrupt and a pain in the ass but the fact of the matter is he was fighting the Commies and we cut off support so he lost. After all Mao was pushed back. To say that Chiang Kai-shek was a loser you would have a very hard time explaining Mao’s “Long March” when pushed back by the Nationalist controlled by Chiang Kai-shek. HOW DO YOU IGNORE THAT???? How do you explain Chaing being a big stupid loser if he pushed the Commies back and only stopped when he ran out of money and supplies???? I can bet you that the Commies didn’t cut off support of Mao.

“…The First Front Army of the Chinese Soviet Republic, led by an inexperienced military commission, was on the brink of annihilation by Generalissimo Chiang Kai-shek’s troops in their stronghold in Jiangxi province…”

“,,,U.S. citizens may face “prolonged interrogations and extended detention” for reasons related to state security.

And yet, that’s one of the things the US Consulate is *for*.

In 1801 Barbary pirates were kidnapping US citizens and ransoming them or selling them into slavery. Thomas Jefferson sent the US Marines in to kick their asses, and when that didn’t take, the Marines went back and did a more thorough job of it in 1815.

Britain kidnapped almost 15,000 US sailors and impressed them into the British Navy; that was one of the reasons we declared war on them in 1812.

Now, you’re a rich person’s kid or a ball player you might get the President of the United States on the phone, or even making a personal visit, to talk them into releasing you. Otherwise, well, what do you expect anyone to do? Various administrations have let US citizens rot overseas for years until the wogs got tired of feeding them. Hey, they weren’t anyone important…

I have noticed that every time Tesla’s stock goes up much, Chairman Elon will make some completely braindead move to slap it back down again. His space company is the furtherance of the privatization of space flight and exploration, which has been going on for decades with all of the major defense contractors.
Elon, while nominally in charge, floats over the surface of that program and barely sees what is actually happening below deck, so to speak.

I also think it’s a willful ignorance on his part, because Elon is a smart guy, and he knows more than most of us do about what exactly the major defense contractors have been up to since the 70’s. He knows it’s better for him if he doesn’t ACTUALLY understand what’s going on behind the curtain.

Plausible deniability and all that.

A lot of exotic tech and wild experimental stuff has been getting built and tested for many years, and it is much simpler, and safer, to punt that stuff over to private corporations than risk it getting revealed to the public by letting the military develop, and hold, it.
Several years ago, I read an interesting quote from an anonymous Google exec who was quoted for an article on a popular, mainstream tech site, it could have been Wired, or something similar.

The exec said that Google higher ups had called a meeting with military brass because their Google mapping program had spotted a huge, unidentified underwater platform in the middle of the ocean somewhere, and Google wanted to know what it was. The military refused to answer and told them to drop it.

Again, this was an article on a mainstream site, and while the exec demanded anonymity, I was very surprised they printed this at all.
Obviously a limited hangout with military permission, or Google was using a soft form of blackmail by making this tidbit public.

Either way, there is so much more going on behind the scenes than we can imagine. Several of the better, more credentialed researchers in the UFO field have labeled what the U.S. military and various contractors have built over the years as the “Breakaway Civilization.”

Their claim, backed up by some intriguing research, is that at some point in the 50’s or 60’s, scientists working with various agencies or contractors “cracked the code”, so to speak, and either reverse engineered a UFO, or made some great breakthrough in advanced electromagnetic/ anti-gravitic propulsion, that allowed them to effectively leave the rest of us behind, and are quietly constructing a breakaway civilization, both underground, undersea, and potentially off world, using their newfound propulsion capabilities.

This all ties into the work of Catherine Austin Fitts, and the “missing” 21 Trillion dollars that Donald Rumsfeld mentioned just before 9/11 went down.
Catherine also buys into the Breakaway Civilization hypothesis, as it would explain where a good chunk of the trillions went. It went into R & D, and production and implementation.

“…either reverse engineered a UFO, or made some great breakthrough in advanced electromagnetic/ anti-gravitic propulsion…”

“…This all ties into the work of Catherine Austin Fitts, and the “missing” 21 Trillion dollars…”

I buy parts of this but I suspect that it’s just another NWO bullshit farce where they have “aliens” invade and tell us it’s “couldn’t” be us because we don’t have alien tech. I’ve shown many times here that there are a vast amount of strange devices that show that there is a force that can be harnessed to make an “inertia” type drive. One that doesn’t expel matter like a rocket. So their “story” that we can’t make these things is likely bullshit.

One such fact is did you know that the repulsion force on the mount that holds a powerful rail gun is not the same as the force of the round shot out of the rail gun. This means the reactions are not equal. Some of this force is not being sent back through the gun mount. There’s a lot of strange stuff like this related to fast moving or rotating objects.

The moral of this story is don’t believe them for a minute if they tell you aliens are invading. Aliens are not complete idiots and if they were to want to invade us they would send in nanotech viewers to study things and then they would either nuke us outright or spread some sort of disease. They certainly wouldn’t fly around in spacecraft we could easily see and shoot at. Their tech would be far above that. The whole story is stupid.

A lot of what Musk says makes perfectly good sense to me. There is one little problem I have with him though. Is he a Jew? He says he’s not but he sure has some very alarming things about him that scream Jew. When he first came to the West, in Canada, he got a job at a relatives bank. Bank?? He also seems to be very agile at raising capital and selling businesses at very high valuations. His name is Elon and his father acts just like a Jew. Read a little about his father you will see.

If he is a Jew I suspect that some Jew faction sees that their “take over the world plan” has some problems and that the gentiles might end up getting so pissed at them this go round that they wipe their asses out. Hence…moving to Mars…

Yeah I know it’s crazy but the Jews are, in our eyes, crazy. So you can only think crazy things if you want to understand them. I’d love to get a genetic readout of what he really is.

> The Marine Corps plans on fielding suppressors to infantry squads starting this year.

That has been bubbling under the surface for some years now. In Britain there was a class action lawsuit from police and military demanding suppressors under their equivalent of OSHA. American police don’t seem interested, but the VA has a *lot* of hearing loss claims from veterans. The Pentagon, perhaps not without justification, has opposed suppressors due to their weight and bulk; soldiers in the field have been willing to give up food, ammo, or other equipment if necessary.

I’m more or less in the “let the guys in the field make the decision” camp. Some swivel-chair officer in the Pentagon isn’t the one who should be making that decision.

> HR bill proposed to audit US gold holdings

That’s something that people have wondered about for half a century now; but Congress and the Treasury Department emphatically didn’t want any kind of audit. Which made people even more suspicious.

Specifically, people who have been to Fort Knox have claimed the amount of gold stored there isn’t even close to what is *supposed* to be there. Personally, I believe it; the US operates on imaginary money now, so why not imaginary gold too?

Also note the recent news of Chinese banks discovering their “gold bars” were actually plated base metal.

And further noting how often gold bars are found abandoned in India on airplanes and trains, usually in toilets, and also in Italy. Who would just up and abandon a bag of gold bars? And why always in a toilet?! Fire up your favorite search engine and you’ll find dozens of stories. And what’s the connection between India and Italy?

Rex, you *almost* get it. If you want to take the next step, I suggest thinking deeply about how Cabal’s systems of control interact with Free Will. Do they eliminate it? Do they respect it? Everyone has free will. We error when our free will takes away the free will of another.

If some people think they want a communist dictatorship, should their will be imposed on others- stripping those who don’t want to live in a communist dictatorship of their own free will?

It’s the same concept as a rape. A rapist uses their free will to not control desire for sex and then seek it so strongly that they will rape to get it. They then violate and reduce the free will of the victim, who does not want sex, and compel through physical force.

And yes, it is through free will that many will make wrong decisions and not repent and are thus led down to Hell and damnation. But no person is perfect, all have sinned or fallen short of what was expected of them by our Father in Heaven. That is why he sent our savior Jesus Christ- who paid for our debts of sin, all of them. It is through repentance and faith in him that anyone can be saved no matter how far they have gone astray. But faith in Jesus Christ is the first step. That faith cannot be coerced.

Every person should be able to go where they want to, and to live as they see fit. That includes communists, capitalists, Whites, Blacks, conservatives, Christians, Atheists and yes, satanists. And there is a place for all of them temporally and spiritually. The limit of freewill is when your will is imposed on others, who don’t want to live the way you do. Compulsion in that situation is the sin. That is why we have consent of the governed, elections, laws, borders and Rights and Freedoms. Now we also live in the World, where the laws of physics apply and there are consequences to actions that we undertake. Freewill is not “free”. That is why, in any of our actions we should understand another persons desires and respect those. That includes the fact that some people do not want to live the way others do, and they have rights, as long as those rights don’t intrude upon others.

I’m really hoping AC reads this and lets more back and forth happen on this topic.

Here’s a little primer on Freewill- before America started to fall into a moral abyss. Jim Carrey’s character is actually the perfect representation of a communist dictator in the last clip.

These are excellent links. From these I found this linked form one of the authors.

https://www.moonofshanghai.com/2020/05/a-cautionary-tale-about-who.html

Fuck me no wonder Trump separated us from the WHO. They are a bunch of mass murdering killers.

I’m telling you there are a bunch of psychopaths running this stuff, mostly Jews. We go on and on about r/K but it seems to me that a lot of the rise and fall of nations is based on psychopath birth patterns. The psychopaths are killed off when things are bad. I can’t remember where I read this but a guy was studying the Eskimos and knew something about psychopaths and wondered if they had them so he explained them to them. The Eskimos said that they did but they were always pushed off the ice at some point.

As a civilization gets more wealthy and Women get more in control of their lives they start breeding with these psychopaths which are much more exciting as they can lie effortlessly. As the numbers build up they move up in power. Once they get to the top the whole society falls apart as they are nothing but animals and have no idea nor do they care at all what happens to anyone or anything.

This actually happened to Athens Greece and we can for 100% tell this is so. It’s well documented that Alcibiades talked the Athenians into attacking Syracuse in the Sicilian Expedition and that was what ended Athens. Alcibiades probably just wanted some adventure so he talked the city into a disastrous plan that ruined them. Then he turned right around and betrayed them to the Spartans. What a lovely fellow. We know he’s a psychopath because of his behavior which was written about.

What Plutarch said about him.

http://penelope.uchicago.edu/Thayer/E/Roman/Texts/Plutarch/Lives/Alcibiades*.html

“…He had, as they say, one power which transcended all others, and proved an implement of his chase for men: that of assimilating and adapting himself to the pursuits and lives of others, thereby assuming more violent changes than the chameleon. That animal, however, as it is said, is utterly unable to assume one colour, namely, white; but Alcibiades could associate with good and bad alike, and found naught that he could not imitate and practice. 5 In Sparta, he was all for bodily training, simplicity of life, and severity of countenance; in Ionia, for p65 luxurious ease and pleasure; in Thrace, for drinking deep; in Thessaly, for riding hard; and when he was thrown with Tissaphernes the satrap, he outdid even Persian magnificence in his pomp and lavishness. It was not that he could so easily pass entirely from one manner of man to another, nor that he actually underwent in every case a change in his real character; but when he saw that his natural manners were likely to be annoying to his associates, he was quick to assume any counterfeit exterior which might in each case be suitable for them…”

If that’s not a psychopath then I don’t know what is.

Psychopaths are just animals. Human animals that act just like humans used to act before civilization. And this is what a large amount of Jews are. If you read about the behavior of psychopaths and then read about the behavior of Jews over their history. BINGO! You begin to understand that there’s no reforming them. No understanding can be accomplished with them. They are like the terminator and the only way to deal with them is to get rid of them.

He sounds like a maximum exhibitionist to me.

I doubt he was a psychopath, he sounds like he was just willing to do anything and outdo anyone to be praised and popular.

I take him as evidence for my 2d r/K/exhibitionist/sneaker spectrum theory.

The psychopaths are usually sneakers which is the opposite of exhibitionists (some are centrist libertarians) but exhibitionists are just as deadly in their own way.

“Leaked internal letter shows Vatican finances in full crisis as Vatican orders all departments to close all external accounts.”

What say you Catholics? Mammon or Christ?

It would appear that the implication here, as presented, is that the question is posed towards the Vatican itself. And I think this is how a lot of anti-Catholics view such stories, that if the “Vatican,” as central authority of the Roman Catholic Church (“RCC”), is corrupt, then all of the RCC must be corrupt. Naturally, I do not follow this line of reasoning, believing that the Vatican, while a central authority from the standpoint of at least governing the RCC, is still made up of men, who themselves are each subject to original sin, and thus corruptible. That does not mean, in and of itself, that either the Vatican or the RCC worships Mammon over Christ.

Moreover, I would ask Rex 2020 whether s/he is Catholic, Protestant or neither. I would ask this because it seems to be implied that one cannot be a Catholic who follows Christ, in view of corruption among some RCC leaders. However, what you are proposing is a false dilemma, as though there are only two options.

If the requirement for a good Christian is to find a church that is free of sinful or corrupt leaders, then there is no Christian church anywhere. Period. Full stop. Corrupt pastors who embezzle money, or sexually harass congregants, or abuse their powers, or whatnot, are easily enough found in Protestant ecclesial communities–as well as non-Christian religious communities as well. For example, must a Southern Baptist cease to be a Southern Baptist because of the recent revelation of sexual harassment and abuse by Southern Baptist pastors and church workers?

If one were a member of a local church whose pastor is found out to have embezzled thousands from the collection plate over the last few years, must one, of necessity, leave that church for another? In that regard, is this really a question of Mammon or Christ? In other words, would you expect Southern Baptists to abandon the SBC en masse or to leave the local church if the pastor is found out to be a crook and a cheat? I would hope not–at least not for those reasons alone.

So what exactly is the real issue here? Are you suggesting the RCC is not Christian, or is barely so, and that no one should really be a member of it?

Maybe it was a bit harsh, but as I understand Catholic teachings (I am not Catholic) there is a concept of Papal infallibility? Is this correct? There is a pipeline of the Catholic priesthood from Ordinand to Lay Priest, then Parish Priest, Bishop, Archbishop, Cardinal and at the top, Pope. Holy orders, the assigning of priestly responsibilities, require a certain standard of behavior and conduct.

This standard has had, it appears, not been fully enforced and required disciplinary action (and legal action) has not occurred and not been enforced by groups of Priests, even at the level of Archbishop and above. Have disciplinary actions (namely excommunication) been applied to high ranking Catholic priests recently on the Church’s own prerogative?

There are Churches that exist that discipline and remove ordained clergy, all the way to the top, and they have recently and publicly done this.

My comment was directed to the priesthood of the RCC. I view them, and their members as brothers in Christ, and no, I would not expect all members of the RCC (or any other church) to leave upon more news of crimes or corruption. I would hope however that a system exists where rank and file Catholics could petition or remove Priests and Bishops for misconduct and then have a say in appointing new Priests and Bishops that may better represent the parish in which they live. We are not helpless in dealing with corruption in our midst and it is the responsibility of every Christian to root it out. When we do not do this corruption and sin can fester and an entire Church can become converged and it’s members taken further away from our Father in Heaven.

Catholics say that Papal Infallibility only applies when the Pope is teaching from the “Seat of Peter”. When Francis is mouthing off about economics, he is talking out his ass and is not covered by infallibility.

According to Taylor Marshall in his book “Infiltration”, the Vatican has not declared infallibility since the 1950’s. Vatican II was not declared to be infallible.

Eric the Awful is dead on. Definitely read Dr. Taylor Marshall’s Infiltration. I would add that there are many trad-Catholics like myself who are disgusted by the behavior of the Church hierarchy and who stand in opposition to it. Archbishop Vigano and Cardinal Burke are two great examples of those opposing the “deep Church” from within. Many who seek to destroy the Church from within use its standards against it. For example, homosexuals and child molesters confess to good priests, who are then bound to silence. If they break that vow and call the cops, rest assured THEY will be defrocked, but not the gay molesters.

Remember, those who seek to destroy the Church will break vows of chastity and poverty, giving them a distinct advantage over the true faithful who actually abide by Church dogma and discipline.

there are many trad-Catholics like myself who are disgusted by the behavior of the Church hierarchy and who stand in opposition to it.

I include myself in that group.

However, and while I own Infiltration, I’m not so sure I want to jump on the “Dr. Taylor Marshall” bandwagon just yet. The whole “Pachamama” dunking, the story of which Marshall broke and was given an exclusive interview by the man who threw the false idols into the Tiber, turned out to be somewhat of a hoax itself as Marshall not only helped coordinate the event, but personally paid for the travel of the man from Austria to Italy. I think it was a bit more than being dishonest when Marshall didn’t simply come out and say this from the get-go.

…those who seek to destroy the Church will break vows of chastity and poverty…

Priests do not necessarily take a vow of chastity, but instead a vow of celibacy (a vow not to marry). Because the “marital act” is only allowed between two married person (i.e., a man and a woman), by taking a vow of celibacy (i.e., a vow not to marry), a priest is in effect also taking a vow of chastity (but this is implicit). For more information, see: https://www.fisheaters.com/priestlycelibacy.html

Further adding to my comment above…. I note that Rex 2020 side-stepped my question as to whether you are a Protestant or non-Christian.

More important, you’ve moved the goalposts from your initial question, making it nearly impossible to actually engage in meaningful discussion. You’ve gone from “Catholics, do you choose mammon or Christ” to “Catholics, you should have a congregationalist or Anglican-like polity where the laity hire and fire the priests and bishops.” How Protestant.

Nevertheless, the Catholic Church does have a process for removing priests and other clergy. It is called laiciziation. Excommunication involves those who steer themselves and others away from Church magisterium. (See, e.g., Martin Luther, Henry VIII and others). There are other disciplinary measures as well. The RCC has a whole system of canon law that deals with this and other matters. There’s a process to report abusive clergy to their superiors. Laws, whether ecclesiastical or secular, are always a work in progress. That means the canon laws dealing with it are not perfect but they do exist and are used. See, e.g., Theodore McCarrick, a rather recent and prominent story. Others can be found. That said, not all crimes are of the same gravity. The priest who skims off the top of the collection plate and gets caught probably doesn’t merit the punishment that McCarrick or a sexual abuser receives. Justice is the point of the law, after all, not showing off how “tough on crime” we can be.

That’s great Bonaventure, lets not fight the 30 years war again here. I have serious issues with Papal authority that arise from my study of history. Many others have had those same issues for well over a thousand years. Peter, Linus and Clement were all Bishops of Rome- this is indisputable, but there are changes after them. It’s also irrelevant what denomination I am, the issue at hand is the conduct of members of the RCC (namely, the priesthood) in confronting gross criminality, especially when disciplinary measures exist and are available. I believe that every member of any congregation has a responsibility to strive to make their congregation more Holy and not a dwelling place for sin. Whether that occurs through hiring or firing or an ecclesiastical court is irrelevant, the process must occur. When it does not we have steered ourselves away from our Father in Heaven.

I feel like it is a very important topic because it leads directly to the heart of how things really work and why, but to the best of my knowledge AC has never censored any of my posts (I guess he does not even read them!). Also, just to be clear, I agree with almost everything you have said, but I feel like you are making one key mistake and I am going to try to ask some questions in the hope that one of them will resonate with you.

> Everyone has free will. We error when our free will takes away the free will of another.

Fundamentally, if I have free will, if it is a property of me, how could you possibly take it away from me?

Let’s say Bob is a cashier at Walmart. Bob wants to drive a Porsche 911 GT, but because he makes $10 per hour he drives a Corolla. Bob’s free will is clearly being violated, but by whom? Is this a sin?

Bob goes on a date. Having studied PUA techniques he has sex. The next morning, his date wakes up, looks at him, and wonders what on earth happened. Was her free will violated? What about if she drank too much? What if he encouraged her to do so? What if he hired a few friends to act as his servants and create the illusion that he was super rich?

Bob builds a house, but termites eat it away. Bob’s free will is clearly being violated. Are the termites sinners? Do they have free will? What about electrons and other quantum particles? There are actually some famous experiments here. What about beef steers and corn plants?

Suppose I want to live in a society where no one’s free will is ever violated. What kind of people would have to live there?

No one is stopping Bob from working for 20 or 30 years to afford a Porsche or from quitting and getting a higher paying job, laws of physics. He can even explain his situation to his boss who might give him a small raise to help him out a little. If I want to fly to Mars, I can’t just will it, laws of physics are a precondition for life in this Universe. Got to obey that law, we probably signed a contract that we would.

And Bob and his date sinned. Yes Bob used PUA techniques but, his date still has freewill, all the PUA techniques did is make him much more desirable to her to where she couldn’t help herself. Freewill wasn’t violated, marketing does make people more impulsive however, and the devil makes quick work of the foolish. How lucky for Bob and his date that they also have the freewill to repent and ask of Jesus Christ.

Animals don’t have freewill, being governed only by want. I have never seen an animal deliberately not eat unless it was sick. So animals can’t really sin. So Bob is free and clear to destroy the termites that pester him.

But is that actually true? It’s fairly well known that most people would prefer to make less if the people around them make even less, thus allowing them to be the big fish in the small pond. Do you think this is a good description of Cabal’s motives?

> to where she couldn’t help herself. Free will wasn’t violated

What does this actually mean? Who or what is ‘she’? Who or what is ‘herself’? It seems as though you are suggesting there is a conflict internal to Bob’s date. If there is a conflict, isn’t someone or something’s free will violated?

> Animals don’t have free will, being governed only by want

I definitely agree that there is a clear quantitative difference between animals and people. But what is the difference between ‘free will’ and ‘want’?

Who is the greater violator of free will, the slave or the master? What does it mean to violate free will anyway?

“…Who is the greater violator of free will, the slave or the master?…”

And I ask you,”who is the master”?

The man who reigns sovereign over his own mind by purifying all earthly desires. Conversely, the slave is controlled via his own materialist wishes. I realize this sounds like Buddhist poppycock, but consider Frederick Douglass:

“… I had reached a point where I was not afraid to die. This spirit made me freeman in fact, while I remained a slave in form. When a slave cannot be flogged he is more than half free. He has a domain as broad as his own manly heart to defend, and he really is a power on earth. While slaves prefer their lives, with flogging, to instant death, they will always find Christians enough to accommodate that preference. From this time, until that of my escape from slavery, I was never fairly whipped. Several attempts were made to whip me, but they were always unsuccessful. Bruises I did get, as I shall hereafter inform the reader, but the case I have been describing was the end of the brutification to which slavery had subjected me.”

Violating free will is any act of compulsion. A violent assault, for example, is a violation of someone else’s free will. The purpose of the violence is to intimidate or to injure so that resistance isn’t possible.

It’s different from something voluntarily undertaken, such as joining the military- where you will receive orders. In the U.S. military, and many other militaries, you can chose to not follow unlawful orders without fear of punishment.

Another example is immigration. Let’s say a Muslim wants to come live in the West. That’s his freewill. But lets then say his potential neighbors don’t want him to live there, because they don’t want muslims living around them. Their freewill shouldn’t be violated to serve anothers wants. Democracy, obviously is an attempt at compromise (because maybe some people want muslims living around them), Democracy where inalienable rights are respected is better. And maybe, just maybe the people who don’t want the muslim living around them are afraid that he and his friends may try to reduce their freewill through acts of compulsion in the future.

Violations of common rules and expectations can also hinder freewill, such as blocking traffic for motorists who did not expect to be put into an engineered traffic jam. A protest is one thing, a motorist would know to avoid it (and should) a surprise traffic jam is an entirely different. That puts the motorist in a situation where they are stuck and don’t know if they’re about to be assaulted or carjacked. They also may experience damage to their vehicle.

What freewill isn’t, is a liberal or leftists dopamine driven desires to overrule the freewill of conservatives or right wingers. So many things we have been tricked into doing in the West have involved weighing the rights and desires and even personhood of those on the left above those on the right, as if people on the right were not even people and thus weren’t allowed to have the natural reactions that they have.

Rex, I must confess that I have been asking rhetorical questions in the hope that pondering them would show you a few cracks in your current world view. Of course, I assume you know this.

I continue to believe (although not, of course with 100% confidence) that there is a more nuanced view of free will that is more accurate and ultimately more pleasant to those who espouse it. However, I should have respected your wishes rather than trying to drag you down the primrose path to happiness that only you can walk. Best of luck pal!

Everyone can see what you are pushing.

“Do as thou wilt shall be the whole law”

You are victim blaming and attempting to justify tyranny.

Typically people think a little about the world views they posses. Free will is a powerful, powerful thing and I can understand why someone would step around it or wrestle with the fullness of it.

And yes, everybody makes mistakes, that’s part of the learning process. But to live a life that is largely free from the shackles of dopamine hedonism is an amazing capability that only humans posses. To consciously go against our chemical programming for a logical higher goal is amazingly liberating and truly the only manner in which we can obtain non-fleeting happiness. We are so much more than deterministic chemicals, we possess a spark of the Divine and every person can choose to use that to become so much more than just their DNA. And when you have that you want to share it, charity being another trait of the Divine.

Use your freewill, don’t submit to hedonism, or anger, hate, lies or ego. Don’t limit others but rather help them grow. And know that there was one who willingly never submitted to the negative and willingly gave everything he had to any who would receive it, so that they may experience eternal spiritual growth. His name is Jesus Christ.
