I always see lots of r/K related stories I think might interest the readers here, but I only have time to blog about a few, so here are some additional news stories that might be of interest. You can skim the titles and summaries, and click the links if they are of interest.
Air Marshalls were conducting surveillance on regular citizens who were not on any watch list. This may be a very significant reveal, and indicative of something that will gradually be delved into much deeper. Notice the Marshalls complained. I would assume they were following people who knew they were being followed, and who didn’t like it – and the Marshalls got the feeling both that this was interfering with their mission, and that the people being followed were regular people who should have been left alone. There are a lot of regular Law Enforcement getting roped into stuff they don’t understand, and are not sure they want to be a part of. I have seen a Cop looking me up and down with the most penetrating look of confusion, clearly wondering what my story was and why he was there. At some point, I think ground-level Police will be drawn by the God Emperor into the Awakening, and this might be the start.

My guess is that the stink over the Price amendment on the Homeland Security approps bill will force a rules amendment on it when it goes to the full House for a vote. Assuming, the Homeland Security approps bill is not first rolled into a larger omnibus bill, as has been done in the past. And if the omnibus does not contain Wall funding, than it will get vetoed by Trump, as he’s promised.
This Price amendment will most likely get stripped out somewhere along the process, and Yoder will be taken to the woodshed by House Whip Scalise and his staff for allowing such a stupid amendment to pass in the first place.

AC, I finally finished your book. The biggest compliment is that it’s proved remarkably prescient in light of all the masks slipping off, e.g., Hollywood values. I’m curious if you know of any recent studies around amygdala influencing political beliefs or inheritance of r-genes, and if/how they bolster r/K Political Theory.
I’m fascinated by the ongoing (and accelerating) physical and psychological divergence between human r’s and K’s. The post-Industrial Revolution resource glut is so huge that I wonder if human r’s and K’s have ever been this divergent. I also think modern, global communications has facilitated a cross-borders r warren of sorts, a condition unique in human history.
Biology isn’t my expertise, but I’ll try to illustrate my point using your cuddlefish example. What if a massive and prolonged resource glut in the cuddlefish environment induced such extreme r-selection that the shitlib version of the cuddlefish degenerated to the point that it could no longer bullshit the females into thinking it was a K-male? Might the two groups diverge to the point that they become separate species? This hinges on the K-females remaining discerning with respect to mate selection, which incidentally highlights why feminism was loosed on the West.
Going back to humans, I wonder if the left is so r that they’ve lost the ability to be sneaky, like the shitlib cuddlefish described above. And when people say “the masks are slipping off,” what they mean is that the r/K divergence has reached the point where you’re dealing with an almost-subspecies that looks, thinks, acts, writes, and memes differently than you. That’s what all the “soylent grin” and “the left can’t meme” stuff points to anyway.
