People Feel Oncoming Apocalypse, Buy Guns In Response

The indicators are everywhere:

The number of full-time jobs in the firearms industry increased from about 166,000 in 2008 to nearly 288,000, according to a new report from the National Shooting Sports Foundation, or NSSF. That represents a 73 percent increase.

The NSSF estimates that the gun industry currently has a total economic impact of nearly $50 billion. That’s up 158 percent from $19.1 billion in 2008. Wages in the industry rose 126 percent over the same time period. The average industry worker now receives $50,180 between wages and benefits.

Mind you, 2008 was not a lull in firearms sales.

Mankind evolved a sixth sense. You can atrophy the amygdala and blind people to threat, destroying it. But there will always be those whose amygdalae are functional, and they will sense the oncoming storm and engage in preparatory behaviors, just as wildlife will head to high ground immediately before a tsunami.

All around us we see this contingent increasingly entering a higher state of awareness, and engaging in defensive behavior.

This is no accident. The Apocalypse is coming, and it will be no joke.

What’s interesting is that the leftoids and SJWs will attempt to shame such people for supposedly giving into fear and paranoia. They’re utterly clueless.
