Symbolic of the change in leadership:
President Donald Trump made an unannounced trip to Dover Air Force Base on Wednesday to attend the return of the remains of the first American service member killed in action under his command.
Trump, joined by his daughter Ivanka and Sen. Chris Coons (D-Del.), flew by helicopter to the base for the arrival of the remains of Chief Special Warfare Operator William “Ryan” Owens, 36, who was killed during a special operations raid targeting al Qaeda militants in Yemen over the weekend.
The article mentions he had three children.
There does not appear to be any specific charity taking donations for his family, though presumably the Special Operations Warrior Foundation would be lending any assistance needed for his kids.
However if you are a little tight of late, as many are after Obama, I would not feel bad because I would also assume President Trump will make sure his family will not lack for any support they might need going forward.
As Obama says, elections have consequences. A President who loves the Military was one of them.
