Ricky Vaughn Suspended On Twitter

This deserves its own headline:

The account of Twitter user Ricky Vaughn, one of the most prominent members of the Alt-Right and a staunch supporter of Donald Trump, was suspended Wednesday.

Ricky Vaughn is the name of Charlie Sheen’s character in the movie “Major League,” and the Twitter account went by this pseudonym. Vaughn gained so much prominence that MIT named him the 107th most influential Twitter account on the election.

Unbelievable they would dare suspend a guy with so many fans, without even an explanation. I would think if you can’t air unequal airtime for candidates, using a monopolized media platform to silence one side or the other would be a violation of some crime or other. It would be nice if Trump would take some action to help out such a prolific supporter.

If you get suspended, get your signal back up quickly somewhere, especially if you are anonymized. It may not be that important now, but if the machine has decided to silence those with followings, one day it might be a procedure before something more serious which would produce a more permanent silencing, as a way to hide the silencing.

Given how crazy the leftists are getting, one day we may need to keep track of each other for all of our well being.

Yep. radio.therightstuff.biz spawned + promotes ‘pool parties’, local in-person groups, for that reason. They exist in most areas with enough population. identityeuropa.com does something similar. I can say that in California they flourish – probably because out here we can /feel/ our minoritization.

He and others (and I) are on the new Twitter-like platform, GAB. It’s as gab.ai and the founder explicitly started it to be a true free speech venue. It’s got some growing/developing to do, but it’s a good place.

I wonder how that list of influential people would shift if you removed all the bogus followers.

Meaning… I’ll bet the ranking is very different in terms of a person being on the other end, much less actually ever reading.
