The Fifty States Ranked By Firearm Rights And How Strict Their Gun Laws Are

Guns and Ammo just came out with the fifty states ranked by firearm rights, and how strict their gun laws are. The list is below, from best firearm rights and laxest gun laws to worst firearm rights and strictest gun laws, with the score of each state following it. Criteria were Open and Concealed Carry, Castle/Stand-Your-Ground Laws, Military, NFA/Class III allowances (Machineguns, Silencers, SBRs, SBSs, DDs, etc), and Miscellany such as number of gun owners, other laws, etc. Note that some states may be more culturally open to killing goblins, though their laws technically do not reflect this. Texas comes to mind.

There is a discussion of this at Free Republic here, with a breakdown of the scoring.

The original article is here, but it is in slide show format, requiring you click on each state’s slide.
