“The United States Department of Agriculture is committing nearly $400,000 to increase food access for the Somali community in Lewiston,” the Associated Press reports:
Members of the Somali Bantu community in the city are partnering with the Cumberland County Food Security Council on the project. The funding is expected to support Somalis’ agriculture and help them reconnect with their cultural heritage.
The USDA says the objectives of the project include building the capacity of the Somali Bantu community and its farmers to produce food and address the problem of limited food access. The agency describes the Somali Bantu community as the poorest community in the city, which is the second largest city in the state.
Cumberland County Food Security Council will recruit people in the community to help increase access to healthy food.
News of this grant comes on the heels of a $300,000 federal grant designed to help limit domestic assaults occurring in Maine’s Somali community.
Seems like famine follows Somalis around. It is the only population I know which can have a famine in the middle of the wealthy northeast region of the United States, while on federal welfare, with grocery stores all around.
It seems baffling that in the US, where there is EBT card welfare everywhere, the Somalis can’t just stop by the local grocery store, but when the average IQ of your population is 69, maybe you need more than just free food.
When nobody has enough money to feed their own family, I hope nobody will take what little people have and give it to these characters. When the Apocalypse comes, things are going to be much worse than they would have been if the rabbits of the nation had just kept their foolishness to themselves.

They’ve settled a lot of Somalians in my community, and while most of them seem nice, they act and look so differently that I can’t imagine ever thinking, “These are just other Americans.” This is a foreign population living in our midst which is going to stay foreign. (They’re also in a place that had very few low-skill or medium-skill jobs to begin with, and yet the State wants to cram more of them in here and force the rest of the population to perpetually pay for them. This cannot end well. When the economy tanks and the free resource spigot is turned off, these people will either starve en masse or they’ll go tribal and attack Whitey. )
