I stumbled upon it while thinking about the Somali-Norwegian knife attacker in Britain.
According to it, at an IQ of 68, the average Somali is well into the mildly mentally retarded range. Given the fact that the smart Somalis who throw the Somalian IQ curve are probably smart enough to meet their needs and be comfortable in Somalia, I would imagine the migrants are well into the moderate to severely mentally retarded stage. I mean if you look around a country of imbeciles, and feel like you are holding the shit end of the stick, you aren’t going to be the Einstein of the group.
That doesn’t even consider some of the other nations. Equatorial Guinea doesn’t even make it into the sixties, and that is the average, propped up by the smart Guineans. You know it is the losers and the morons who are flooding into the west. What are their IQ’s? 40? 35? What are they going to do in the first world beyond eat newspaper and find creative places to defecate that nobody would ever think of? No wonder they are all shitting on top of the toilet seats in Europe.
It is as if you have a successful chess team, and you begin recruiting morons, while assuring everyone that each moron is bringing a vital diversity to the team which will only make you stronger. You can cut the stupidity that hangs in that air with a knife.
So long as resources are free, or governments can create that illusion, people will not oppose filling their nations with mental retards and assorted societal refuse from the bottom of the third world.

I’m quite surprised that you weren’t privy to the intelligence disparities that exist. Ashkenazi Jewish, White European, and East Asians are in an entirely different league compared to all other races, on average. It’s simply no contest and doesn’t change when one accounts for income.

I knew there were intelligence disparities, I just didn’t know Somalians average 68, and Guineans averaged under 60. Then again, Derb’s piece that got him banned at NR was so shocking to me, I don’t even remember the numbers, only the fact that the numbers were astounding.
Somalia suffers from terrible third world nutrition conditions, constant war, relatively low intelligence African genetics and lastly, and worst of all, the consanguineous marriage that accompanies Islam.

It’s amazing how badly Africa and many African countries and populations are totally screwed. As the (normal) African IQ is 10 below the Indo-European IQ, they are really living the lives of retards as you point out.
I actually think immigrants who come, not including the current wave of muslim “refugees”, do tend to be smarter than the average for their country, at least to the US. A lot of how people from abroad can move here legally is by studying at a US university.
There are also countries such as India that rank low in overall IQ, but those who come here are largely from the endogamous upper Hindu castes, and I believe are quite a bit smarter.
Still, you make a good point, although the r-selected behavior of some immigrant groups, such as rape rampages, worries me a lot more than low intelligence might.
Brain drain. There is a pervasive myth that Indians are all high IQ geniuses. Unworldly and innumerate liberals seem unaware that there are over a billion Indians, the vast majority of them profoundly stupid.
The other flagrant example of brain drain defining a country’s cognitive quality for lazy journalists is Nigeria, which is supposed to be the next Silicon Valley or something.
In the US, an IQ of 70 is the cut off point for the death penalty based on diminished capacity. In other words, they supposedly too stupid to understand what they were doing. They are geniuses at everything else, according to their lawyers.
In the 1970s, the NYC public schools decided that regardless of race, all children with IQs under 70 (or the equivalent score on whatever test they used) should be sent to special-ed classes. One special-ed teacher then noticed something strange: During recess, the black kids teased each other and ran around playing games, while the white kids sat in their wheelchairs drooling on themselves.
That’s because it takes a lot of brain damage to knock a white kid’s IQ below 70, whereas 70 for a black kid is just a little below average. I don’t consider an African of 65 IQ “mentally retarded” for the same reason a horse with an IQ of 12 is not mentally retarded. Their only problem is that we no longer need Africans to pick cotton or horses to pull carriages.
If you compare brains to vehicles, the european is like the jet aircraft. At proper full functioning it can propel itself at amazing speeds. But a simple defect in it’s development and it will be restricted to driving around on the tarmac at 20 miles an hour.

Inbreeding is the only common variable I could see with the low ranking populations besides average mean temperature in their respective climates. It could explain a lot of what we’re seeing as far as the lacking intelligence and behavior problems with the general populations of Islamic, African, and pacific island countries.
Think about it for a second. It’s very possible that a man who can sire a dozen children with a half dozen women he’s not married to is doing as much damage to the genetic diversity of a population as marrying 4 or more wives producing more than one child with each. Do this enough generations in succession with minimal influx of a substantial outside genetic donor, toss in a few wars here and there to even further reduce the diversity amongst males and you would likely have cousins marrying cousins. Islamic, African, and some pacific island populations practice polygamy, which makes me curious if we’ll find this level of retardation amongst the populations of fundamentalist Mormon communities too. A good thing to check into, don’t you think?

I wonder if African IQs would pick up if we stopped going over there, and keeping all of the weak alive, too. Suppose what determined if you got a mosquito borne disease was whether you took the effort to read up on the diseases around, and how to avoid them. If only those people reproduced, I’ll bet the IQs would pick up quite quickly. Instead even fi you can’t figure out how to find food, somebody will come to your door each month and drop two fifty pound bags of it for you, and treat all the diseases you picked up. Tough to evolve a high IQ when things are that easy, and everybody survives.
Thanks for reminding me about foreign aid programs. I keep forgetting those variables, but fundamentalist Mormon communities do heavily depend on social welfare programs as well, so that only makes it more appealing a community to study.

Very true. If things get scarce enough, there will probably be some major Darwinian selection to take care of that. I hate to sound callous, but that is how nature produced high IQ’s to begin with. No reason to think that is entirely over. We are pretty much the same machines we were 200 years ago. All we are waiting on is the shortage.

It CAN be demonstrated that natural selection WEEDS OUT the less fit of a POOL of variants.
Requiring that these variants EXIST in the pool to begin with.
But, Darwinian “Selection” does not “produce” ANYTHING! That would be mutation. And it has NEVER been demonstrated that mutation PRODUCES intelligence. It DOES produce sickness, unviability and disease, though, that we know.
So if you mix these two mechanisms and don’t make a clear distinction you come to the unfounded conclusion that intelligence arose through a process of trial and error. This has NOT been demonstrated.
I’ve always wondered how accurate a lot of that IQ research is for those African nations. I’m certainly not saying the average IQ is anywhere near European nations of the US (the results speak for themselves) , but it seems to me you couldn’t even establish a nation state if the average IQ was in the 60s, I’m not even sure the average person would have the abstract thinking skills necessary to understand something like a legal system.
I’d also like to see how wide the bell curve is in these places. I know the white IQ is often said to have a standard deviation of 15. I wonder just how many Africans there are running around with an IQ above 100. The US seems fortunate enough to be getting the higher IQ immigrants from these shitholes, mostly because we don’t invite them here and pay for their every need, so there’s a natural filtering process. Our problem is low IQ Mexican immigrants, and potentially the same sort of “refugees” Europe is getting if Hillary wins.
