Ted Cruz lost me once he blamed Trump and took the side of these scumbags. I think it was the critical error he made, where Donald was suddenly allied against both leftists and the Republican establishment, and Ted seemed not as focused on leftists as the enemy as he should have been.
The nation is approaching the psychological foundations of war, and the right is feeling it more than anyone. Now more than ever, the left is the enemy, and there can be no compromise. In that environment, what will determine the success of a conservative politician is how fiercely he is aligned against the left.
