A widespread network of “asylum dealers” providing fake asylum stories to people seeking residence permits in Sweden has been revealed by Swedish Radio. “I had been rejected and was afraid that they would expel me back to Iran. Then I heard that there were people who could help one out with asylum,” a client of “asylum dealers” named “Hamid” (assumed name) told Swedish Radio. “I was able to buy a blog critical of the regime that had been active for several years. I took it over and then they helped me update it as if it had always been mine,” “Hamid” explained. With the help of this new false evidence, he was able to gain a residence permit in Sweden.
None of these migrants see any moral issue with this. Because they are programmed to expect resources to be free, to them the moral failure was with the Swedes, who had all these free resources, and threatened to expel them anyway so they could not take any. By purchasing fake asylum stories, the migrants feel they have righted a moral wrong, and reset the balance of the world to produce a more just and fair outcome.
When resources grow short and starvation is threatening, they will similarly justify anything, from theft to murder, because their brains are not designed to understand that sometimes in the world, there just is not enough stuff for everyone to survive.
I hope by then the Swedes have reprogrammed their brains, because they are allowing this because r-selection has skewed their morals as well.
