Trump is about to open the contest up:
When Donald Trump and his team were planning his presidential campaign, they drew up a budget of $25 million for television advertising in the third quarter of this year.
They wound up spending zero for the rest of 2015.
That is about to change. Sources in the Trump camp say they will soon launch a major ad blitz that could cost at least $2 million a week, and possibly several times that.
The initial wave of ads will focus on Trump’s vision and his stance on key issues–no bio spots necessary for the celebrity candidate–but that could change if any GOP rivals target him with negative commercials. “If you attack Trump, he will attack you 10 times as hard,” an adviser says. “We will not allow any attack to go unanswered.”
What he should do in one commercial is highlight his enemies.

Immigration agents have filed a detainer on Rivas-Rosales, an indication they think they have grounds to deport him after any possible sentence has been served.

An interesting article in Taki, though about race (ostensibly), explicitly describes r behavior among white liberals and K behavior among those to whom they acquiesce. I hope this isn’t too crude.

The groups they’re trying to appease, though, aren’t nearly so naïve. It emboldens them to bite the hand that meekly holds out the olive branch.

Highlighting his enemies would be brilliant marketing. I can only assume he’ll do it.
Imagine an ad that intones ominously (as if it were an attack ad against Trump), “People are worried about Donald Trump. He’s dangerous. People like El Chapo [picture of El Chapo]; and the Muslim Brotherhood [picture] and Rosie O’Donnell [picture] all agree they can’t afford a president like Donald Trump.”
Would be hilarious and effective — and I’m only half-kidding about including Rosie O’Donnell: it groups white leftists in with the scary and aggressive foreigners. Outgroups them, essentially.
